What can you do in Cherrapunjee?

Zip-Lining

Cycling
Cherrapunjee is ideal for bike tours during the few months when it rains on a smaller scale and mountain biking is always a thrilling adventure. The rough terrain, and the mountains can be difficult for pro-bikers, but it is a wonderfully incredible experience.

A Journey to the Living Root Bridge
Trekking trails abound in Cherrapunjee. It's a great sport to try out while you're here because of the breath-taking views. The trek to the Living Root Bridge takes roughly 3 to 4 hours. Steps lead downhill towards the settlement of Nongriat. A forest trail winds through the hillside, eventually leading to the Living Root Bridge.

Waterfall Hopping
Sohra is studded with waterfalls tumbling through steep gorges, and nearly all of them have mythology associated with them. The most well-known are the Nohkalikai Falls (India's highest plunge waterfalls), Kynrem Falls (India's seventh highest waterfall), Dainthlen Falls, and Nohsngithiang Falls (also known as the Seven Sisters Falls).
