How to Visit Lyngksiar Waterfall?

Situated near Mawkma Village in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, the waterfall is best reached by road, the nearest destination being Cherrapunji. The winding journey through the hills offers stunning views of rolling mountains and stunning greenery that will mesmerise you. While public transportation options are limited, hiring a taxi or organising a private tour is the most convenient way to reach this hidden gem. The journey, as much as the destination, promises to be an unforgettable experience. Upon reaching the destination a short trek of 5 to 10 minutes is required to get to the waterfall. The trek is relatively easy and several signboards take you to the waterfalls, be prepared to go through the Lyngksiar cave on the final leg of your short walk before you reach your destination.
