Elephant Falls
Elephant Falls, one of the most popular tourist spots in Shillong, is a stunning three-tier waterfall cascading through a dell of fern-covered rocks. It gets its name from an elephant-like stone at its foot. Locally, it is known as Ka Kshaid Lai Pateng Khohsiew, which translates to 'Three-Step Waterfall.' This spot is also perfect for photography.
Shillong Peak
Standing at a height of 6449 feet (1965 meters) above sea level, Shillong Peak is the highest point in the city and offers a breathtaking bird's-eye view of the surroundings.
